B21FT piston to ring side clearence below minimum 200 1984

I measured the " piston ring side clearence Gap" ( the roof and/or the landing of the piston rings inside their piston grooves )don't remember spec's and I'm quite a distance from my shop. In theory spec's shouldn't matter, if it's a problem it should apply to almost any engine. P.S. Thsi is NOT piston end gap I'm speaking about. There shouldn't be anything wrong w/ having below min. spec. ring side clearence gap..... ooohh maybe not adding gap had you confused. My Bad anyways if you ahve any info on this subject it would be nice.

ciao for now ljrh........is the LH 3.1 exclusive to a 240 between 90 and 93 because I have a '85 740 w/ the Jetronic comp. and the M47 still in car and they are going to the crusher. get back to me on them...I'm also in B.C. , Canada
