Cooling System Rebuild . . . 700 1990

1990 740, B230F, LT 2.4, cam-driven distributor...

Okay, so I broke my FIFTEEN year old (OMG!!!!!!!) OEM radiator the other day.

The weather is changing and I want to get this brick back on the road ASAP.

What are the reasons to use an OEM unit versus an all-metal one?

What else needs to be replaced at the same time (assume that most parts are very old).

I think all hoses, the water valve (?), the thermostat, fluid, reservoir jug and cap all will get yanked. What else needs attention? What am I missing?

Sway my weakly-held opinions!! Which radiator should I get my baby?????

Cheers!
