Help, I'm dead part II 200 1993

OK, here's the follow up.
Car died while driving, and refuses to start.
Fuses 4 and 6 replaced, along with fuel pump relay.
No change. With key turned on, I don't hear the familiar
pump buzz. This model car doesn't have a tach. so I can't tell
if the crank positioning sensor is working.
It does have diagnostic module in engine bay.
Can it be of any use ?

I read few posts on "jumpering" fuses and FPR.
Not sure what jumpering is. Fues is either in or out.
Why jump it ?

Timing belt is not broken, and timing is in sync.

I'll check for spark tomorrow. If I don't have any,
can I assume problem is with crank sensor ?
Isn't it responsible for both, fuel and spark ?
This sensor appears to be quite hard to get to. Oh, joy !

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
