It's a 1-piece assembly with the strut tube. So, try the following first. I've been down this road several times, figured I was screwed, but had no problems after doing this: with a die grinder notch the melted/mangled remains of the bearing race, not all the way through to the spindle but most of the way. Take a big hammer and a cold chisel, and deliver a few solid whacks to the newly-created notch in the race, this should split it. A couple more hits should break it free of its improvised welds to the spindle and you should be able to drive it off, then clean up the galling on the spindle with emery cloth. Sometimes I've had to notch & split the race in two or three places and take it off in pieces, but it'll come off. As long as you can still see some of the machining marks on the spindle once you've got stuff apart you're fine. If the race was spinning and wore the spindle down to the point that the new bearing bottoms out on the spindle but is still a sloppy fit, replace - but I haven't seen one that bad yet. I am impressed by just how much abuse they can tolerate - I drove one to the shop that was binding up badly enough to intermittently yank the car to one side then release with a big snap, but once the remains were chiseled off the spindle, it was fine.
