News you can use, regarding 1981 B21A Carby model 200 1981

I reported that I had the Zenith-Stromberg 175CD 2SE Carb overhauled, installed a B21E engine's electronic ignition system (complete, including Ballast Resistor), instead of the erratic Points and Condensor and had the car dyno-tuned, which required the Carburetor's Needle to be re-shaped, above 3,000RPM. One other thing I did, only because I could not get FCP Groton's cooperation was to remove the Brass Wahler Air Box Thermostat and slip a length of PVC Pipe over the spindle to force the Preheat Door to be Closed, permanently. Cool mornings it is rough, but I am satisfied. Regardless, I have increased my (aggressive) city driving, by 3 miles per gallon, using 98 RON BP Ultimate. Not bad! No chance to take to the highway, yet, but I expect a definite increase.

Thought you'd like to know.
