Can I take the 72 145's tank and put it in the 68 142? 140-160

I don't have the cars side by side right now, but I was wondering if I could swap them... If so, SWEET!!! Because the 142's leaks, and the 145 is going to be a junker car after I get done with it that'll be sold for $100 or something. I want the motor out of it, but I probably won't get around to that unless we move into a house... I just found out yesterday that it has a newer Bosch alternator in it though, so I might switch that into the 142.

So far I'd say I've spent $250 or so on the 145, and I just sold the IPD bars off of it for $150, and I sold the floormats for $50, so I may just get my money's worth out of it!
