I could be wrong, but .... 200

No mask here, Ken. But at least I didn't get it in my face. Makes sense that they would stop using asbestos in all parts at roughly the same time.
You will recall my complaints about removing this gearbox and how it fought my at every turn. But I'm glad I took it out. The clutch is worn, obviously. But I also found that the release fork was not properly secured at the pivot end. The wire clip was in the bell housing completely off of the fork. That thing couldn't just pop off. But I don't think the gearbox has ever been out before this so I wonder if it was ever put on in the first place. Pivot ball was kind of rusty. Input shaft splines were also a little rusty. As if they hadn't been greased to begin with.
Lars' mind must have been somewhere else when he installed this unit at the factory.
With all that and the clutch wear it's no wonder this car has been so hard to shift. But with a new clutch, some grease in the right places and a little Redline MTL I'm thinking this car will be a lot more fun to drive.
