Best built body/chassis in a 240 ever?

Steve Seekins told me that the dies for the body changed completely in '86 for the newer body style. The old cars seem to be weaker, or at least suffer from more flex. Based on Kenny's complaints that his '83 245 has a really floppy chassis that's cracking at the firewall, while I'm running stiffer suspension, stickier tires, and not suffering any of the same issues on my '87. I also have 2 large windshield cracks that are growing VERY slowly, indicating to me that chassis flex is not bad enough to tweak the windshield into cracking all the way across.

'86+ were galvanized and don't rust nearly as bad as the older ones. My '90 has the nice door seals to keep noise down. I'd be looking for the newest car possible.
