E code headlight question 200 1986

I've had a set of DJ Auto on my '88 for ~4-5 years. Quality is in no way up to genuine Volvo but neither is the price.

Fit is OK, adjustment is tight, I need a socket wrench to turn the adjusters, the genuine units I bought to replace them turn by hand easily.

They do put out great light, I have 55/100w bulbs runnign through relays, and in spite of one of the new units breaking the first time I tried to adjust it (replaced by vendor) they have provided good service.

Suffice to say they are good enough that I haven't bothered to put either of the Volvo sets I bought on the car, and they are way better than the cloudy plastic lenses.

One thing most sellers don't mention is there is some rewiring required for any E-Codes you put in the later cars.
