E code headlight question 200 1986

I have one DJ Auto '86+ e-code. Haven't used it (spare) but it looks like a good part. I have the Volvo/Cibie e-codes on my '87, so I'm familiar with both. The aftermarket light looks decent, lens looks about the same, reflector is metal, headlight bucket looks about the same. Mine has a OEM turn signal attached, so no comment on the DJ Auto turn signals because I don't have one of those.

The only complaints I've heard were about adjusting them. If you run into problems and can't get them aimed correctly, you might be able to stack washers between the light and the chassis to shim it one way or another. My OEM lights are easy to aim, though, so I never had any trouble.

You can grab an H4 plug off an old 240 (pre86) and splice it in place of the '86+ headlight plug. I run 55/60 because I haven't gotten around to rewiring, and because all of the used e-codes I've bought have had bulbs so I've never had to buy one.
