Oxygen Sensor for 86 240 200 1986

I was wondering if there are any alternative to using an oxygen sensor designed for a Volvo. A new oxygen sensor for my 86 240 is over $100 but oxygen sensors for other cars, ie Ford, are much much cheaper. Is it possible to use a sensor from another make/model and save some $?
