Reversing Lights 120-130 1967

Hi Everyone,

Just found this forum!

For some reason, the reversing lights on my '67 Amazon estate aren't working properly & it's been an intermittent problem (for the last few days, which will no doubt make it fun to trace. However, all the other lights are fine. Also, there have been no problems using the overdrive, so I'm guessing that the gearbox earthing is ok.

How easy is it to get at the switch on the gearbox? Also, where would I find the relay for that circuit? I've checked the Haynes manual, and that's no help, beyond a schematic wiring diagram which has no reference to the actual location of many electrial components.....

This morning they were working again, and also when I left work, but when I got home, just as I was reversing into a parking space, the reversing lights cut out.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Cheers!

Paul
