Coolant leaking onto driver's side floor 200 1984

Hello all-
My beloved '84 245 w/ 290,000 miles is leaking coolant onto the driver's side floor, soaking the carpeting and padding. I have torn apart the immediate area, and the coolant lines running from the firewall to the heater core seem to be tight at the firewall. I can barely get my hand up to where they go in to the heater core, but I tugged on them and they dont seem to be loose. The leak is slow, I add a few pints of coolant/h20 mix every 500 miles or so. I can't see where it is dripping from, with the engine hot and running. Has anyone experienced a leaky heater core in a 240? Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance for any helpful hints. Matt S.
