scrounging from a 245, steering Rack, calipers? Last Call... 200 1984

I really have to move the 245 out to the junkyard. I have removed lots of stuff, and a few of you have gotten some items, but time is up.
So should I pull the steering rack, I think my Dad replaced it about 5000 miles ago so it's pretty new. I know racks on 700 go after awhile, do the 240's? ANd I noticed there are 3 generations of these, are they interchangeable, should I keep it for my 84 242 (237K miles) or the 91 245 (220k miles)?
And some BBers take calipers off junkyard cars. Is this worth it, they're awfully rusty and maybe siezed, so is it worth re building them? (the ones on my 242 need re building) Is it better to re build the ones from the 245 and then just swap them onto the 242?
Also, anyone need anything from a 84 brown 245DL, tan interior? Last Call........
