'87 240 Knock Sensor 200

I've had problems with the car stalling occasionally when I open the throttle.
I have found that the L-shaped male spade connector on the knock sensor is loose and can easily spin 360 degrees in either direction. I don't think this is normal. Should I re-solder or replace the sensor?
Has anyone had any experience with this?
