Overheating B-18 120-130 1966

I wanted to thank everyone for their advice, and I wish I had some kind of news to further "the cause"... But after doing the ignition timing the car turns over but won't start. I found no spark at the distributor and the choke fast idle links stuck closed. Out of money, and patience, for the time being but will follow up on the overheating issue at a later date for the benifit of anyone else stuck in my position, after addressing these latest setbacks.
Thanks again everyone, I find this place to be an excellent and highly necessary resource.
In the meantime I'll do my best not to hate the car.
-SRC.
