Groaning noise, steering related 900

Hello all, this is my first post, though I am a frequent visitor to the forums. My latest issue however I was not able to solve through searches.

Recently I've developed a groaning noise from the front, it is present all the time, however it increases significantly when I turn the wheel in either direction. When the wheel is centered it is only audible at idle or low speed.

Also, it does not appear right away, only after a few minutes of use.

My guess was the P/S pump, but I'm hoping to get some confirmation.

EDIT: The belt visually appears to be fine, but as I'm new to this, I'm not quite sure what its supposed to look like.
