Wiper arms with too much 'swing' angle 120-130

Making sense to me, as my wipers do the same thing. It actually seems like the overall sweep of the arm gets wider when I've had the wipers on the fast setting for a little while and they (mainly the pass-side) start to strike the trim. I wonder if something somewhere starts to slip as it heats up or maybe if water gets into it, allowing the inertia of the arm to carry it farther than it should go... I've taken a few cursory looks but haven't come up with a solution myself.
