1990 740 - What's this black horn-like thing? 700

Underneath the car, just behind the bumper on the driver's side are two flat metal horns that are quite exposed and looking somewhat worse for wear. Fine. I took the plastic belly tray to other day and I see a black plastic cylinder (about 3" in diameter, 5" long or so) dangling there under the air box. It apparently was bolted to the frame but the plastic mount broke. It has 2 wires coming from it. One end, with the wires, has a hemispherical rounded end. The other end is fluted like a horn but inside the flute is a hemispherical rounded end so the unit is sealed. Is this another horn?

I would have suspected the PO added a horn when the original failed but the wiring for both looks like they could be original. Perhaps one of the horns was added on, wires and all, and spliced in somewhere up in the harness that I can't see.

What does the original horn look like on your 740?

Bill
