Installing second cig lighter in center console? 200 1992

For a while Ive been wanting to add a second in-dash cig lighter on the opposite side (right) of the original, for symmetrical reasons but mostly for actual use (charging phone, ipod, pda etc). Ive taken the center console out a couple times so i know that the mounting bezel (the double wide) in the rocker switch panel is glued, not just snapped into place like the switches, but thats not a problem for me (dremel time!) I would just tap into the ground (outter) and 12v(?) (inner) of the original lighter socket and it would act just like a if i had popped a y-splitter adapter into it like a normal person, correct? Is there anything i am overlooking that would make this an unwise idea?

More importantly, who has a lighter socket w/ bezel they can cut from a spare center console piece for me

I'll compensate with pictures, and i guess some cash too. cheers!
