Alternator Upgrade on b21 200

Hello

I just got a 1979 245 dl with the b21 Engine and a m46.
I belive the alternator is of 55Amps That seemed kinda low and as i whant to use fog lights and such, can i upgrade to a later alternator 70 or even 80 amp without having to move the mounting of the alternator to the later b230 position?
just seeing if it will fit.
