Idle Problems When Cold 120-130

My B20B engine with dual SU carbs will not idle when first started even in warm weather. It takes a constant in and out with the choke and the right touch with the gas pedal to keep the engine from dying. The engine starts fine and runs great after if it warms up. It normally takesonly about five minutes or so, but before that the car just won't run without a lot of choking.

Will an electronic ignition help? Any other suggestions? Thanks for your help.
