I take them off every fall, and replace them every spring .... 200 1990

My 'summer' wheels (Hydras) for one of my '93's has the hole for the pin; my winter wheels (old steel wheels) for my snow tires doesn't have the hole.
In the fall, I take off the pins (all four corners) to put on my snow tires; in the spring I put them back, not that they're needed but just because I can, to put on my summer tires.

I think I recall that it's a 10mm wrench!
