1988 Volvo 240 Stalling 200 1988

My daughter was driving our 88 240 GL (180,000 miles) back to college and it stalled while she was going 65 on the highway. Car would not start for a couple of minutes but then started and she parked it. I went and picked it up, started it and drove about 20 miles with no issues. She also said it happened that same morning as as she was turning left onto another street. The car started right after that stall. This is the first time this has occurred with the car. It is now at a local shop but I wanted to get some forum advice as to what could be some possible culprits. Thanks in advance.
