driving with headlights is a problem 700 1991

Thanks very much for the suggestions - i'll try doing everything you suggested!
Also, I completely forgot about one more problem which seem to relate to the rest - when I try to use the a/c or the heater, the car starts to tremble and then it basically stops without the engine actually cuttign off. I add acceleration and nothing happens, but once i turn off the heater, the car starts accelerating again & everything is fine. (the milage is 105,000m).
Do you think it's the same problem as with the lights?
