Volvo vs Saab real life crash data

Not sure how the comparison would go if it was between a 15 year old Saab and a Volvo of the same vintage. I have owned both, and hated working on the Saab. I have been in two accidents while in a Volvo and believe the structure saved us from any injury. Have had two friends die in Saabs over the years, one ejected while belted in as the car was torn in half at the firewall. My parents were saved when a drunk driver, in a F150, rearended them doing at least 50. The 164, sitting at a red light, was pushed right up to the rear window glass, but all four doors opened. Guy in F150 was toast, they unbuckled and got out without any injury.
