B20F to B21F conversion. 140-160 1974

Has anyone personally executed a conversion from the B20 to the B21, succesfully, as much as I am enjoying the simplicity of the B20 I am irritated by its lack of power and crudeness. If the conversion is done, is a tranny also neccessary, how is the fit on a M... tranny into a 140? How about the read end? I just purchased a 0miles B21F and was going to put it into a project car, but am considering placing it in my 142.
