The guy that answers the emails at KGTriming does so with very good English. I've never tried calling them, odn't know if they could converse in English or not.
Their catalog is fascinating, but it can be hard deciphering the 'technical' Swedish. It looks like when things get complicated they start sticking words together, like the Germans. Occasionally I'll type a phrase from the catalog into an online Swedish/English translator and have it not recognize a single thing. But it's sort of like the McDonals number/picture menus designed for illiterate customers - you can see the picture enough to guess what it is, then can usually figure out what they are saying about it. For example, they have a section titled 'Special Toppackningar'. Well, it you look at that with your eyes crossed you might be able to figure out that they are talking aboud head (topp) gaskets (packningar), but having a picture right there help immensely. And when they have an item in that section labeled "Specialforstarkt med skarkant till B20/22 fran steg 3 samt 92.00-93.00 borning" it not too terribly hard to figure out it is a big-bore B20 headgasket. A few years ago the exchange rates made their stuff a relative bargain, but the currencies have slid in opposite directions since then, now they are a bit priceier. Remember, though, that their listed priced (in Sw. Kronor) include a hefty VAT tax of 25%, that is not applied to sales outside the EU. So subtract the VAT, add the shipping, often times you can get the part here for slightly under the listed prices.
I just got lucky in finding my R-sport head (and very cheaply too) on eBay so I never had to find the parts or someone to modify the head. Instead of spending $1000+ on a head, I found one on eBay and got it for $125 (plus shipping). The race car it had been on had sucked a nut into #1, but had caused only cosmetic damage (to the head at least) that looked worse in pictures. Just minor little chicken pecks in person. Although a bigger problem was the insanely high compression ratio it would have given me - I ended up carving out 5 cc's of metal in the chamber and using dished B21FT pistons to get a steeetable CR.
