Passed NJ inspection today the second time...After they failed me for....Aftermarket Pedal pads 200 1985

I thought it would be a good Idea to share this Story with you.

In the morning I went to pass my car from Inspection....I passed emmisions, visual, lights etc but they failed me because of the Pedal Pads. I had installed some aftermarket Pedal pads that clip on top of the stock ones with brackets some months ago. They inspector told me that only rubber pedal pads where allowed and any kind of metal, plastic or combination is not allowed. My pads where metal-plastic combo.

The good news is that I had the old rubber pedal pads which I replaced in the DMV parking lot and I went around for reinspection where I passed.

Does anyone else had any similar problems with Pedal Pads....Or maybe where i can get some Nice Pads that are Approved?

Thanks

Mike
