Can I be happy with a non turbo?

I have had mostly 7xx/9xx turbos over the years. I am looking at getting a 93 940 wagon - non turbo w 133K. Most of my driving is done on the highway - and high power takes second place to me as far as these cars go. I just love the way they drive.

A couple of questions.

Can a turbo user like me be happy with a non aspirated version - or is the power so much less that I would be unhappy? (I know it is up to me - but I just would like some opinions)

Can I expect better mileage..on 87 Octane? This is one reason I am looking at the wagon. That plus I know the reliability factor goes up with non-turbos.

Thanks for replies and opinions.
