wheel bearings parts 200

front end of my 91 245 is howling like a lab dreaming he's drowning. anyway, i got all the wheel bearing parts to do both wheels (inner and outer bearings w/races, wheel seals, new cotter pins and a tub of grease) but in bentley (page 770-4, figure 7) i see what they call a sealing ring bing installed on the spindle before installation. is this the new wheel seal that goes on the back of the hub (which i got) or is it something my local parts guy didnt sell me? i can just see it, lying in the driveway with the car up on stands, wheels off and finding out i need another dang part! just trying to cover all bases, thanks the advice. brgds.
