Can I be happy with a non turbo?

I'll chime with an opposing view. I really prefer the turbos for highway cars. I drive a 90 745T and an 89 244. Given the choice I always pick the turbo for long highway drives. It has the power to get you where you want to be rather quickly from a 75mph cruising speed. I think that good acceleration is as important as good brakes on the highway. I think it is part of a good defensive driving package...

If only Volvo had offered the 240 series with the B230FT. I hope to build one as a project car at some time.

I use 87 Octane in the turbo all the time. It works well for me.
