driveshaft support bearing; the driveshaft is 2 pieces-where they are joined theres a bearing inside a rubber support, it needs to be pressed on and off the shaft so i would have a mechanic do it, it sounds too damaged to be re greased, if you do any of this yourself, the relationship between all of the driveshaft components have to be maintained so the need to be marked with paint or chalk or something even the flanges of the transmission and differential the transmission needs to be supported with a jack and piece of wood also, its easy to get off, the 2 peices just slide into one another (splined) the bearing is 3 inches or so wide, i wouldn't recomend doing it yourself, but make sure the mechanic knows what hes doing
