1998 v90

Hello All,
After much research and readings on this board i have just purchased our first Volvo (98' V90). Seemed like the most practical bang for the buck for our family lifestyle. The two owner car came from Florida with 99000 miles seems very clean and well looked after i paid $5500 and had it shipped to the Pacific Northwest (we live in Langley B.C. about 3 hours north of Seattle). Had the vehicle fully inspected on arrival and it had 3 very minor issues (e/brake cable adjustment, cracked wiper washer T, and a rear bumper skin rivet.)
Not having any Volvo experience is there any need to do or check items with these cars in particular. As i am sure you all know it is a 2.9 litre non turbo.
On another note the oil dipstick handle is snapped off (strange?), what other year cars or motors can i poach another one off as there seem to be very few of these 2.9's around.
Looking forward to your comments
Thanks
