Can I be happy with a non turbo?

hi there
i have put one in the 86 244, my daughters car. (rear ended last night and pushed bumper in. driven home, the car that hit my daughters car is totaled and hauled away on flatbed the sunroof was cracked also) ;^)
anyway the vx cam advanced 4 degrees resulted like this
1) before stock M cam 0-60 times 14 seconds on hand held stop watch
2) after vx cam and gear 0-60 11 seconds, auto shifts at much higher rpms?
not afraid to pass anymore, didnt do any higher mph times, butt-0-meter says pulls hard all the way up the tach.
i just bought a 1990 745, first upgrade will be vx cam and gear(i have the cam) not installed yet.
gas mileage wont suffer, except for the fact its more fun to drive and you stomp the pedal more often.
noticeably better with exuast work (says daveshan).
much better than the A cam i had in tried. (non turbo application)
my other car is 85 244turbo with ipd turbo cam and many mods 15 psi pretty quick.
thats my experience. do a search on Brickboard for vx cam. much info.
good luck
