88 240 sedan Coolant loss 200

I have noticed coolant loss on my wife's 88 240 of about 1 gallon every week. But when I let the car idle on the driveway to see where the leak is coming from I can't find a trace of coolant on the floor.I already ordered a cooling system adapter to do a pressure test.In the meantime I would appreciate any suggestion what the problem might be.By the way, the car is not overheating and the oil is clean (not milky) and I also replaced the overflow reservoir cap.Thanks guys.
