Wheel and tire size 444-544

OEM for your car would be solid steel wheels, 4 inches wide. The closest metric equivalent tire would be a 165/R15 (basically a classic 86 aspect ratio), still somewhat commonly available because Beetles use them too. The early style of hubcap goes witht hose wheels - larger and with a red center circle and a larve 'V'.

Starting in 64 or 65 were the silver painted slotted steel wheels, still in 4 inch width on sedans and PV's (4 1/2 on 122 station wagons?). These have the newer smooth stainless steel hubcaps.
