English Parts Manual for PV444 or 44408 444-544 1953

Good morning Tony: I think the only discernable difference would be the B16B motor, that should be virtually identical to the A to B models of the 544. You'll also find that early 544 models shared many components with the latter 444s. Also, the 444 parts catalogs were a bit sparse with their diagrams, so the 544 online catalog may be more helpful, depending on what you're interested in. BTW, there was a separate 444 L (B16) parts catalog and if there's anything that you need in particular, just let me know and I'll send you a scanned page or two.

Good luck with your restoration project. After finishing all of my pre-winter chores, I plan to start on my second 1953 PV444 that I will be changing from the basic black "E" model into a deluxe maroon-red "ES", with the bomb sight hood ornament and of course the takgök signal light. I plan to likewise document the restoration on my web site, in a similar fashion to what I did on my Amazon-S.
