Help! - close to selling 1997 960 because drives horrible in winter 900 1997

My 97 960 sits in the garage over the winter. My 1987 745 Turbo wagon is my every day car and in the winter I run 4 Gislave snows. No weight in the back and it doesn't have a LSD rear end. Funny I have never gotten stuck and it drives fine in the snow. As everyone else has said you need snows on a Volvo in the winter. I know people with FWD Volvo's that have given in to putting 4 snows on their cars. The sales people tell the customers they don't need them on their FWD's and the service writers and techs tell the customers to install snows on them.
