Just sitting there 120-130 1967

Just curious, why do you think it only has 33,000 miles on it? The car is 39 years old, and even if it sat for 10 years, that's less than 1200 miles a year. Is the car in showroom condition?? If it is, I really would like to see some pictures.

My '65 122 sat for 18 years (1983-2001) before I brought it back to life, and the speedometer read 39,000 miles. My guess was that it had 239,000 miles on it, which would make it around 12,000 miles a year for it's first 19 years of life. I ran 10,000 miles on it the first six months I got it back on the road. It looks like it has 240K on the body and 18 years of sitting out in some junkyard.

I think it's great to get one of these back on the road, instead of letting it rot in someones backyard or a junkyard.

Paul
