Cam Steering Boot Oil 200 1984

Hello, I finally figured out that my 84 gl has a cam steering rack. I am thinking of replacing the steering boots when I replace my tie rod ends. I have read that the cam gear is lubricated with oil and not grease. What kind of oil do I put in the boots when I replace them? The Volvo green manual only refers to a oil with a Volvo part number, so I can tell quite what kind of oil they are refering to. The IPD catalog says to squirt lithium grease in or on the rack parts. Haynes says the cam gear uses oil, so what kind? Also, how much? Thanks for your help, Kenneth
