Restuffing front seats with foam from a rear seat? 200

I was thinking of taking a rear seat out of a wrecked 240 wagon and resuffing my front seats with it. Has anyone done this? The foam from IPD is pricey and I just want to see if this might work. I have already been inside my seats to fix the lumbar and attempt to reposition the old foam. The lumbar works fine now but the foam is shot.

Cutting and fitting the foam shouldn't be that hard and since it's 2 big pieces I can probably do both fronts with one complete rear seat. Rear seat foam is seldom broken down like the front seats......

Any thoughts on this?
