cold start problem 200

Hello!

After rebuilding the carb on my '79 244Gl the car refuses to start when cold. It takes app. 10min to start it. When I turn the motor nothing happens, I must pump the gas pedal and turn it xx times until it starts giving signs.Even after that it eventually starts and runs for 10 sec and dies. This repeats for 2-5 times and then it works, no real power though...Full choke applied ofcourse.
Before rebuild there was a lack of power immediately after start but no problem to start anytime...

What could be the problem,?choke (I assume not, seems to work normaly when the car runs),?temperature thing on the firewall side of the carb,?cold enrichment?Any experience anyone? Thanks for answers in advance.
