Transmission stopped working related to directional lights? 900

This is on a S90. The transmission felt like it was low on fuild when starting first thing in the morning (when very cold). If you let it sit for a minute it would feel normal and shift fine for the rest of the day. Just took the car out same feeling but this time I pulled out on to the street and the car would not go at all. There is no smell from the trans but there is something strange. My directional indicator is lit pointing to the right, with the switch not engaged. When you engage the switch the lite goes out and the directionals do not work. The same thing for the 4 way flashers. Being this is an electrical shifting transmission do you feel the two could be related. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
