240 brake problem 200

After searching the archives I still cannot find a post similar to the problem I'm having with my '86 240. When bleeding the brakes, the pedal won't go to the floor when the upper bleed screws are opened on the front calipers. This happens when either the left or right UPPER bleeders are opened. Fluid does come out though. All other bleed screws being opened result in the pedal dropping to floor normally. The MC, rubber hoses, pads, rotors, and front calipers are new. The brake pedal also feels fine after bleeding.

Thanks in advance.

Dave
