Make SURE the cylinder the distributor rotor is pointing to has both valves
FIRMLY closed. The setup instructions for distributors in the manual are
confusing and many of us have tried to start an engine with the timing off
by 360°.

A little spray can of starting fluid is easier to handle and probably safer
than a cup of gasoline.
