240 check engine light and random stalling 200 1993

my 1993 240 wagon has had some stalling problems for the last couple of months. the check engine light eventually came on and the dealer recommended to replace the air mass meter and crank sensor. i replaced the air mass meter, which got the light off, but after a couple weeks it stalled again, and about a week later the check engine light came on again during another stalling episode. i replaced the crank sensor, which was badly deteriorated, but the light remained on. i replaced the fuel pump relay, and the light is still on. the car hasn't stalled in a while, but i'm pretty sure it will again. every time it does stall, it starts again in 30 to 60 seconds and will go for another 50 miles or so with no problems. at this point i don't know what's causing the check engine light to come on or the stalling, or even if they're related. the car's got about 130,000 miles on it. does anyone have any thoughts about this? any help is appreciated. thanks.
