Strut Brace/Tie Bars 200

Hey everyone,

I was looking for some opinions on a couple of suspension upgrades... Having the IPD sways with poly bushings, lowering coils, and 15" Virgos with good summer tires, good steering and front suspension components, the thought of a truss brace with or without upper tie bars is intriguing. However, I really don't like the price tag (of the Truss brace ($165 IPD), not the tie bars ($68 IPD)).

Being a creative guy with admittedly too much boredom, I was even thinking of fabricating my own Truss Brace which would incorporate a set of tie bars, creating a nice triangle type of strut reinforcement.

Anybody have any of these items, and if so how do you like them? As good as advertised?

Thanks, and enjoy the bricks!

Best,
