Not Charging 200 1986

I've replaced the regulator and had it checked by Kragen. They said it was producing 14 volt +-. Seemed to have the problem solved. A week later it let me down again. The alternator is not charging. There is no idiot light indication that there is a problem. I know that the charging system runs through the instrument cluster and there has been no idiot light warning me of any problem.
The engine and ignition harness were both changed recently if that is anything.
