preparing for winter? 700 1990

Ouchies - that's tough advice. I drive 40mi each way to work - so 1/2 tank means 2 days worth...even just leaving it overnight will cause condensation?

Here is what I've compiled so far -

- Ice pick to scrape off the snow
- Winter washer fluid
- Winter wipers
- Engine tune-up
- Add weight in the back (golf clubs?)
- Change to synthetic oil

Am i missing something?

Thanks for all the advice guys!

p.s. - I don't know how I gave the impression that I live in upstate NY. I live in Queens (NYC) and commute to Long Island. :)
